I would like to see the Char B (which I believe was available for French collectors). Otherwise I will have to buy it for a tenner plus on Amazon in one of the various versions advertised. Whil...It is not just WW1 tanks that are lacking.

While there are several versions of Tiger 1 and various obscure German A and B vehicles (sorry, but a gun tractor is not a tank - unless it is armoured it is not an A vehicle either) there are also notable gaps in WW2 tanks. Where is the Vickers Mk VI Light, the most numerous British tank at the start of WW2 (albeit not a world beater). Where are the early British cruisers, which carried the initial weight in the Western Desert? Where is the Soviet T-26, or its predecessor the Vickers 6 tonner? Both were made in both two and one turret versions, and the Soviets had thousands of them in 1941 (and lost most in the initial charge of Barbarossa). Where are the various Japanese light tanks, including ampibians, which had such an inpact in 1941-41 (and earlier than that in China)?

The fact that a Panzer collection has been smashed into the overall collection may explain much, but did it really improve things - except for the Panzer fans.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4279054640767816388.post-77832993334555800952012-10-23T18:36:10.638-07:002012-10-23T18:36:10.638-07:00I am also dissapointed about the lack of WW1 tanks...I am also dissapointed about the lack of WW1 tanks.
